Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Under Arms (Coconut/Lime).

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for two to four weeks, depending on hair growth and personal hormones. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and extend time between appointments. We'll recommend a schedule based on your hair pattern and desired maintenance.

You may feel brief stinging when hair is removed, but our technique minimizes pain. Choosing coconut wax helps soothe skin; pre-treatment exfoliation and post-wax cooling reduce sensitivity. We offer tips and breathing techniques to make sessions more comfortable.

Coconut wax is generally gentler and more moisturizing, ideal for sensitive underarms. Lime wax provides a refreshing scent and slight astringent effect but can be more stimulating. We'll assess skin sensitivity and recommend the best option for comfort and results.

Come with clean, dry underarms free of deodorant or lotions. Allow hair to be at least quarter-inch long for effective waxing. Avoid sun exposure and heavy retinoids before your visit; gentle exfoliation a day or two prior helps lift hairs for better removal.

Use the soothing aftercare we provide: aloe or calming oil, avoid heavy deodorants for 24 hours, wear loose clothing, and skip hot showers, saunas, or intense workouts for the day. Apply gentle moisturizer and exfoliate after 48-72 hours.

Some irritation or ingrown hairs can occur, especially with sensitive skin or improper aftercare. We use proper technique, exfoliation advice, and soothing products to minimize risks. If ingrowns appear, we provide safe treatment recommendations and prevention tips for future sessions.
